A Glowing Welcome - outdoor decorations
The party or wedding decorations isn’t just for inside - they should start outside the door! These outdoor party decorations are inexpencive, and you can easily make them yourself. And best of all, they will set the mood before the guests even get inside!
Here’s how you creat you own glowing welcome message:
1. Determine what you want your message to say. For example “Welcome” or “Happy Birthday Dave”. Each letter takes about one minute to make.
2. Get one brown and one white bag for each letter. The white bag should be slightly smaller than the brown bag as it goes on the inside.
3. Draw your letters on the brown bags with a pencil. The white bags don’t have to be cut.
4. Cut out the letters. You can use nail scissors to cut the curves.
5. Place the white bags inside the brown ones, make sure they stay together by using some clear sticky tape. Use an uncut brown bag with a white bag inside for any spaces.
6. Place a layer of sand in the bottom of the bags. You can get this from a hardware store.
7. Place a tea light in the sand and put your luminarias in their position.
8. Light the candles.
