Casino Party
Casino is a great theme for a party! The entertainment takes care of itself and excitement is guaranteed. Use real money or just chips and have games like black jack, poker and roulette.
Invitations
Whether you send the invitations electronically or through email, it’s a good idea to use playing cards. If you send out electronic invitations you can use images of playing cards or chips. If you send them by post you can for example attach a playing card to the invitation.
Attire
Casino parties are about glizz & glamour so you should ask your guests to dress up. Perhaps suits and cocktail dresses?
Preparation
Put up a few tables with games like poker, bridge, black jack, roulette and euchre. Cover the tables with green or black cloth and use a white pen to mark the game layout. You can also add games like Backgammon and Bingo (yes, you can make very funny bingo versions!).
Make a rule book available for any disputes, and remember that the casino always wins!
Give the guests some chips when they arrive. Announce in the beginning that the person left with the most chips at the end of the night will win. Have a dedicated time for the award.
Decorations
- Think red, green and black
- Have cigars, chips and cards laying around
- Dim the lights and put up twinkle lights
Food and drinks
Tapas and finger foods are best suited for a casino party. Drinks should be Champaign and cocktails in cool glasses.
