My Wedding
The best party I have ever been to is my own wedding. That’s how it should be, right? We got married very quickly after the engagement, we only had 12 weeks for planning. It doesn’t sound like too much, but it was incredible hectic. We only just managed to get everything organized in time.
Before the wedding we got a good tip:
You only get married once … and the memories last forever. Make sure it’s exactly the way you want it!
Of course people often marry more than once these days, but I still think it’s a really good advise. I’m very glad we followed it when we planned our wedding. We didn’t have much money in those days so we were a bit limited, but we spent as much as we could afford to get our perfect day. It was an amazing day. Like nothing else I have ever experienced, I felt so happy and high the whole day.
On the Wedding Day
We hired a great manor just out of the city. It had a big garden and was just gorgrous. I was driven there in a Jaguar with my father and sister (mrides maid). Earlier that day I had got a serious case of the wedding nerves I never thought I’d get. Not because I had cold feet, but because it was so important to me that I looked perfect for my husband on our wedding day. My poor hair dresser had to have three goes at giving me a hair style I was happy with. When I finally left her I was very unhapy with my look and nearly crying.
When I got home to my mums place to get ready, she had even more wedding nerves than me! She was also convinced that my hair looked terrible and strted pulling it with both hands. Luckily it wouldn’t move because of around 70 hair pins and an impenetrable layer of hair spray. we had to let it be. When my dad got home, he say he thought I looked great, so I started to calm down…
When I arrived at the manor, the wedding nerves were replaced with this incredible high I have never experienced before. I was just so happy and excited! I was finally marrying the man of my dreams and I even started to realize that my hair looked great. It was such an emotional day.
The Ceremony
We got married at the manor - it was so beautiful. We ere wed at the top of some stairs while the guests were gathered below. My husbands two sons handed us the rings in a very touching ceremony.
The Dinner
The dinner was just incredible and the speeches were great. It’s not every day I get to sit for hours listening to friends and family talk about how faboulus my husband and I are 
We miscalculated how long eating would take though. By the time the waited staff had the desserts ready, we were all dying from a break and had to reshuffle the schedule.
Weddings are just incredible. Love them! Especially my own
